UNDERSTANDING THE LEVELS OF SPICES
---
Please properly understand the levels before choosing a level that will be right for your taste. The degree of hotness of hot chilly peppers is not always the same, therefore the consistence of spices level varies.
Also note that the degree of hotness of a specific level number for one menu item varies from the degree of hotness of the same level number for a different menu item. Even though both items are ordered at the same level number the degree of hotness changes because of different seasonings accompaniments, temperature and style of preparation of each item.
For example, ingredients such as yogurt and cheese reduce the hotness of the level ordered. Generally oven hot items tend to taste hotter than cold, room temperature items. For certain items that require a level, please select a level of spice that best suits you. If you are unfamiliar with our scale, Anil recommends that you order one level lower than what you think you can handle.
Anil offers customized levels, because he strongly believes that thorough enjoyment occurs when food is prepared at your desired degree of spice level.
